Head Coach/Program Director - Walter brings 24 years of coaching experience to the Rice Program. This experience has been exclusive to coaching girls’ teams for the last 11 years. Included in that time was the development and coaching of the Stowe High School team along with coaching developmental and select teams of all ages. Walter also started and directs the Vermont Stars Girls’ Hockey Program which is in its eighth season. This select program provides opportunity and training to more than 100 Vermont girls every year. Additionally, Walter is the USA Hockey New England District Director of Girls’/Women’s Hockey and the Director of the USA Hockey Girls’ Select 17 National Development Camp in St. Cloud, Minnesota. While attending Clark University in Worcester, Ma. Walter played hockey and soccer.
