New Brunswick and Quebec schools join league to make 10 teams

Rothesay Netherwood School and Stanstead College will join the North American Prep Hockey Association for the 2009-2010 championship season. Both teams will join King's-Edgehill School, Northwood School and Wyoming Seminary in the McMaster Division as Trinity College School slides over to the MacLeod Division joining Nichols School, Ridley College, Appleby College and Gilmour Academy. The new divisional alignment will maintain the East/West alignment of the league.

Teams will play a total of 13 games - two against each team in their own divisions and one game against each team in the other division. For the first time, divisions will play in two centres on league weekends in December and February while all teams will meet at Ridley College for the January weekend.

The first league weekend will take place December 4-6, 2009 with the MacLeod Division meeting at Nichols School and the McMaster Division playing games at Stanstead College.
