McMaster Division Weekend: It's Anyone's Game!

2014-01-13

McMaster teams battle to enhance record and secure playoff standings.

The second McMaster division weekend of the year solidified the equity amongst the league with no one team dominant amongst others. The closest, with 2 wins and 2 ties was Stanstead, who gained enough points to win the division title. Rice and KES also picked up 2 wins, Northwood went 1-2-1, and RNS was 0-2-1 with their tie being against the division champions, Stanstead. The McMaster division standings are now set and the teams will await results of the MacLeod weekend to see their competition in the round-robin playoffs in February.

Below are scores from the weekend:
KES 4 – Rice 1
Northwood 3 – RNS 0
Northwood 2 – Stanstead 2
KES 3 – Northwood 1
RNS 1 – Stanstead 1
Rice 4 – Northwood 0
Stanstead 6 – KES 1
Rice 3 – RNS 1
Stanstead 2 – Rice 0
