Northwood and Stanstead Continue Leading Division
2016-12-05First League Weekend of 2016-17 Wraps Up at TCS
Northwood School and Stanstead College continue to lead their respective divisions at the conclusion of the first NAPHA league weekend of the 2016-17 season. Northwood sits atop the MacLeod Division with a 4-1-1 record finishing the weekend 2-1-1 and Stanstead leading the McMaster Division with an unblemished 9-0-0 record.
The league looks to be more competitive top to bottom this season with all eight teams sitting with at least two points in the standings so far.
"Expansion" team Hoosac School pulled the bus out of Port Hope yesterday after their first ever NAPHA win - a 1-0 victory over Rice Memorial School.
Six of eight NAPHA teams will next see each other at the Deerfield Academy Holiday Tournament on December 16 and 17.
